“May the passions in the minds of Sikhs remain calm and the reason flow clear and always be guided by the light of Waheguru Grant us the company ‘of those who may help keep thy Name fresh in our hearts, Extend they helping hand to all and every one May thy Name, the religion preached by Nanak prevail and prosper, for ever and ever, may thy Will be done wherein lies the good of all” All Sikhs are supposed 16 live according to the Guru’s teachings, worshipping only one God, not any idols Having faith only in Guru Granth Sahib and not in the books of other faiths However the books can be read for general Knowledge and causing no offence to the followers of those faiths
