WASHINGTON DC: The W.S.0 U.S.A. Along with Washington D.C. Sikh Organizations honored Congressman Dan Burton for his firm stand in the Congress and outside about the Human Rights violations in Punjab and Kashmir and atrocities by the so called largest democracy’s security forces.

More than 100 Sikh men and women clad {in beautiful Punjabi dresses graced the occasion. Dr. Manjit Kaur Bajwa introduced the Congressman to the audience and spoke about his tireless services for Human Rights and freedom for the Sikhs Dr. Kamal Sethi did a wonderful job managing the stage. Congressman Dan Burton promised to stand like a rock to fight for the Rights of the Sikhs and Kashmiris.

Dr.Gurcharan Singh Dhillon President W.S.O U.S.A sent a message which was read by S. Harbans Singh Bharaj rom Sikh Cultural Society New York S.Rajinder Singh Sabharwal Jagir Singh Bains President & Vice President of the Sikh Cultural Society were intendances Jagjit S. Mangat could not come.

W.S.0 U.S.A is thankful to S. Amritjit S. Sethi Dr.Gursevak S. Pabla Dr. Rajinder S.Bajwa and S. Bishen S. Nagi and the tire less efforts of Lachman Singh Aujla.

Sardar Didar S. Bains welcomed the guests. He explained in detail about W.S.O and its activities.

The American Sikh Community is highly in debated to you for raising a very strong and forceful voice against oppression in the Punjab.”
