STOCKTON: Calif – Sikh Youth of California is organizing a Shaheedi Conference at Stockton from May 9 to May 11, 1986, The Conference will commence with Akhand Path on May 9 (Moring0). After the Bhog ceremony on May 11 at 10:00 a.m., the proceedings of the Shaheedi conference will begin. The conference will offer prayers for the peace of Shaheed Jagiit Singh Rode, brother of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhind ranwale, who was reportedly murdered in mysterious circumstances last month, Tributes will also be paid to all those who have laid down their lives for the Sikh cause.
Kirtan and Dhadi Jathas have been invited to inspire the Sikh Sangat, Participation of youth
Representatives from all over America and Canada is expected. The organizers have put up posters and pamphlets requesting all Sikhs to grace the occasion with their presence.
