OTTAWA: The Sikh Society of Ottawa performed an Akhand Path Bhog for the peace of Gen. Lakh Singh’s soul. The Path was started on Friday, August 12, and the Bhog was performed on Sunday, August 14, 1988. Eminent Sikhs of the area paid rich tributes to Gen. Lakh Singh and called upon the Sikh nation to wholeheartedly join the war of liberation’ for Khalistan. “The best tribute that we can pay to his memory is to work for the realization of his dream of Khalistan,” summed up the general refrain of the speeches.
