AS the persecution, torture, looting, burning of houses (including their inhabitants) and the state-operated smear campaign continue against the Sikhs in Hindu India (World Sikh News Sept.6,1991; Charhdi kala Oct.10 & 17, 1991) the Indian administration of the high class Hindu P.V. Narasimha Rao a Brahmin bigot has intensified attacks on Sikhs in Punjab to wage psychological warfare. The New Delhi administration and its sycophants are deeply engaged in slandering the Sikhs their heritage their source of spiritual and political guidance-Guru Granth Sahib (the compilation of teachings of the Sikh “Masters and saints) and heir saint soldiers. Those who are actively participating in the hate campaign against and distortion of Sikh history are Rajinder Singh Nirala Harkdass Ajnabi G.T. Beunay Kulmohan Singh chairman Mahharaja Daleep Singh Memorial Society Delhi (WSN Oct.11, 1991) Madan Singh H.S. Gill L-Singh ant Sipahi Sept. 1991). A Pujnabi writer “As I would look the photograph of Nanak I would automatically think of a Monkey and looking at a photograph of Nand Singh a Bear (Sikhism A Spitiual Failure Handy Primers Lud Lees U.K. He furthers writes “There are hundreds of such mistakes in Guru Granth .All Sikh saints and devotees are suffering the fate of spiritual death. It was all the fault of technological mistakes in the writing of the Guru in Granth Sahib. Further Bhai Matidas and Bhai Dialaji have been shown in colored photographs wearing the Hindu thread GJeneau) Tikka or Tilak (mark) on their foreheads their hair loose and clean shaven faces resembling the Hindu deities Rama and Krishna. At this time Indira Gandhis administration launched an undeclared war against the Sikh nation a war whose effects the Sikhs are still enduring. Forty eight hours after the military attack on the Darbar Sahib complex in Amritsar the Indian army deliberately burned the Sikh Reference Library a treasure of Sikh heritage: looted the Darbar Sahib and burnt the hand-written scriptures of the Sikh Gurus all in order to systematically eliminate Sikh heritage and its culture. In the post-Bluestar era Hindu administrations have been Promoting anti-Sikh writings to demoralize the Sikhs and distort historical facts by disseminating fabricated news reports through the state-controlled news media all under the supervision of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW an intelligence network of the Indian KGB). However the New Delhi administration dominated by high class bigots Brahmins and Aryasamaji cult have not achieved their goal due to the unexpected resistance offered by the Sikhs. Because of this resistance the subsequent administration of Rajiv Gandhi intensified its reign of terror in Punjab including its hatred campaign against the Sikhs everywhere. The terror in Punjab changed the Sikh nation into a military state in order to suppress the people’s discontent.
Several attempts have been made and decrees issued to prevent the Sikhs from performing last rites and offering collective prayers for the loved ones who have fallen victim to the state sponsored persecution. The New Delhi administrations new puppet administrator Surinder Nath has imposed a ban on the singing of a divine inspirational hymn Deh Shiba bar mohe.. in the public places under his jurisdiction.
To exterminate the Sikhs from Punjab one of the Indian prime ministers hatched a conspiracy which advocated a military attack against Pakistan from Punjabs soil However Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann president of the Akali Dal not only disagreed with the then prime minister but also made the prime ministers intentions public In the same manner after having successfully removed V.P. Singh from office Singh’s successor Chandershekhar old a delegation of Sikhs which included Darshan Singh Ragi and Dr.Gurmit Singh that you do not know the might of our armed forces. We will eliminate (exterminate) 5000 Sikh youths and the world will know nothing about it. When Chandershekhar finished his sermon Dr. Singh would him that “i you (the prime minister) can find a solution to the problem by butchering our Sikh youth you go ahead and do so but remember that your administrations fake encounters have been going on since Operation Bluestar of June 1984 and you have not been able to restore any normalcy in Punjab.” The Indian prime minister had no answer or comment (Ajit J.S. 1991. Charhdi Kala Oct.24). The Sikh delegations discussion with the prime minister of India leaves no doubt as to the intentions of the Indian administration towards the Sikhs. Recently there have been demands as well as threats to send the army into Punjab to suppress the Sikhs. One must not close one’s eyes and overlooks the fact that there are already 450000 armed personnel in Punjab engaged in merciless murders lootings rape torture and humiliation of the Sikhs. More than 800000 Indian army personnel are deployed in Jammu Kashmir where innocent peace loving Muslims are meeting the same fate as the Sikhs of Punjab and the freedom fighters of Assam. It is known that India’s intelligence personnel belonging to RAW the Intelligence Bureau the Central Intelligence Department etc have penetrated Canada the United States and other countries at least since 1980 to provide a cover-up for Operation Bluestar in June1984 and to slander the Sikhs (Kashmiri and McAndrew. 1989 Soft Target Lorimer Press Toronto) This scheme was devised under the patronage of the then Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and her successors. This was executed under the directions of one of her closest associates M.M.K. Walia Kashmiri Brahmin who was quoted as saying we have broken the back of the Sikhs and we will get them elsewhere” (CBC 740 “As it happens” June 171984). The administration of PV Narasimha Rao has issued a memorandum to the foreign missions in New Delhi that they should not issue visas to Sikhs. This clearly illustrates the Indian administration’s policy designed to exterminate the Sikhs and Kashmiri Muslims from Punjab and Jammu-Kashmir through such acts as staged encounters.
“The Sikh military and police personnel must look beyond the present and realize what’s in store for their families and children. Sikh servicemen in particular must consider the case of vacationing Sikh military personnel who have been humiliated and arrested by the Central Reserve Police Force contingents. Even their spouses were not spared the humiliation of unwarranted and excessive physical abuse. These Sikhs must realize the enormous capability of the government to condone and cover up the activities of their personnel and provide immunity from public censure and prosecution This encourages police officers like Sumedh Saini and numerous others to freely engage in torture murder and rape of Sikh women children and elders. The events of post “Operation Bluestar” and the genocide of Sikhs in Delhi and other states in October 1984 must be an eye opener for all non-Hindu non-brahmin and —_non Aryasamajis as to their fate in the alleged secular Hindu India. The fact remains that this artificial political entity India was never secular and will never be secular. All non-Hindu and non-brahmin communities (Sikhs Muslims Christians and Dalits) should examine Sir (Dr) Mohamed Iqbals writings -sharam si aati hai is mulk ko apna kahte huey. (I feel ashamed to identify myself with this unfortunate land of Hindus). Indeed Sir Iqbal read the writing on the wall well before Aug.15, 1947.
In view of the ensuing events and the gross violation of human rights the Sikhs who are taking a stand against the terrorist-like Indian regime must reassess their options. The Sikhs must realize that they have never submitted to tyranny and they must never become subservient to the Hindu majority which i politically dominating India Sikhs are Sikhs and not Hindus whereas the Hindu Indian administrations have been desperately trying to propagate assimilation through their educational political and social institutions. Yet the Sikhs have more in common with the people of Pakistan which Hindu India regards as its traditional enemy. Both Sikhs and the people of Pakistan share the same language culture way of life traditions and more importantly mutual respect. Unfortunately the New Delhi administration of Nehru Indira Gandhi Rajiv Gandhi V.P. Singh Chandershekhar and now P.V. Narasimha Rao have been executing a systematic program of persecution prosecution and ignorance of human rights language culture literature and source of spiritual and political guidance (Gur Granth Sahib) of the Sikhs. (As such the Sikhs have no option but to repel the enemy (the Indian armed forces and their New Delhi masters) boldly and courageously in order to liberate. themselves. They have no option but to struggle hard for their independent sovereign nation-Khalistan and there by recover their territory Haryana Himachal Pradesh and Punjabi speaking areas of Rajasthan) from the terrorist regime of India. Further the Sikh armed personnel and civil servants serving the New Delhi administration must reflect upon the teaching of their Gurus compiled in the Granth Sahib acknowledge and observe human rights irrespective of race and religion as did their fore fathers.
