SAN FRANCISCO: Hundreds of Sikhs from all parts of California held an angry protest demonstration in front of the Indian Consulate office in San Francisco October 9.

Women and children were also very vocal in their protest against this most tyrannical and shameful act of hanging of Bhai Jinda and Bhai Sukha. Sikhs from as far as L.A. and other parts of California as Stockton, Livingston, Fresno, Bakersfield, E! Sabrante, San Jose, Fremont, Caruthers etc., participated in the demonstration. Big placards which had the pictures of Bhai Harjinder Singh and Bhai Sukhdev Singh were the main attraction for the passersby.

Literature exposing the brutal Indian regime was distributed for the benefit of American people. Slogans raised by the demonstrators were “Shame on India” ‘Long live Khalistan’ ‘Bhai Sukha Jinda Amar Shaheed” ‘Death for Butcher of India.”

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Amarjit Singh, Spokesperson Panthak Committee accused the Indian Govt. of the killing of ‘our two great heroes and ignoring all the norms of justice and Geneva Convention, according to which no prisoner of war can be executed by the captor country’. He spoke of the impending Khalsa justice in which all those Hindu higher ups responsible for heinous crimes against the Sikhs will be extradited to Khalistan and punished for their misdeeds, He paid glowing tributes to Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha,

Others who spoke on the occasion included Bhai Gurdial Singh, Jaswinder Singh Jandi, Ajit Singh Pannu, Devinder Singh Swaran Singh, Gurnam Singh, Tare Singh, Harminder Singh Somane and Dr. Ajitpal Singh Sandhu, Anclderly Sikh women, came to the microphone and challenged those sitting inside to Come Out and join the protestors otherwise, they will be considered guilty, too. She exhorted Sikh women to follow in the footsteps of mothers of Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Sukhdev Singh Sukha,
