Every Sikh starts his day by praying the wellbeing of all mankind barring all castes and creed.
Dec.101992 is the 44th anniversary of the International Human Rights Day but Sikhs have fought for them since the 16th century.
Amnesty International Human Rights Watch and UN Human Rights Committee have repeatedly cited the Indian Government serious violation of human rights against Sikhs in the Punjab. Similar violations have occurred in Kashmir Assam Bihar Tamil Nadu Orissa and other minority states.
According to the latest report of “Asia Watch” dawn in Punjab is now a systematic procedure to pick Sikh me a and women and convert them by evening into lifeless entities furthermore the reward of lakhs of rupees on the militants makes police forces greedy and corrupt In this process thousands of Sikh youth have been eliminated since last years. Recently in the village of Cheemna Punjab at a central point. All the young boys and elders were brutally beaten and tortured at gunpoint. The police then proceeded to force many men in the village to disrobe their teenage daughters in public to humiliate them. These young women were then beaten and tortured. This is a basic human rights carried on by those who are paid to protect them.
Sikhs it is time to awaken and show our collective voice in front of the United Nations.
