BOMBAY: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has announced a country wide ban by his party, on films of those personalities who attended the Pakistan Day celebrations held here on March 23.
The function was organized by the Pakistan Consulate to commemorate the demand for a separation, Thackeray said never before in the history of the country had such celebrations been held and wondered how the Government had allowed it. He said the list of those personalities who attended the function, obtained and their films not allowed to be screened. Hindu ac. tors and producers would also come under the purview of this ban, he said, Thackeray was here to meet the Agitating Shiv Sena and BIP op Position Corporates who are demanding immediate elections to the office of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Thane city.
