NEW DELHI; Condition of Dwije Devi wife of Indian prime minister Chandra Shekhar deteriorated at Ram Manohar Lohia hospital Sunday as she was having difficulty in breathing doctors said.
A message about her condition was sent by wireless to the prime minister who was away on a tour of Bihar and she might be shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences the doctors said.
Mrs Dwije Devi was hospitalized early last week for treatment of bronchial asthma A special team of doctors from R M L and AIIMS examined her.
