PHAGWARA, Punjab: Refuting stoutly allegations about the existence of any helipad or rocket launcher inside the Golden Temple Complex, Mr. Bhan Singh, Secretary, SGPC, has invited the public and the press to visit the complex to make an on the spot verification of facts and firsthand information.
He said that a calculated Government malpropaganda about the complex was being made under a deep-rooted conspiracy to adversely affect the number of pilgrims and offerings. Officially planted stories on dwindling offerings and pilgrims were a pointer to this conspiracy.
He alleged he was not being: granted an interview with the SGPC chief, Mr. GS. Tohra, and a senior Akali leader, Mr. PS. Badal.
He had sent a telegram to the Governor, Mr. SS. Ray, asking for an interview with the two detained leaders.
