AMRITSAR: The SGPC has strongly condemned the Haryana administration for not permitting Sikh jathas to go to Pakistan on the occasion of the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev in November 1992.

Drawing the attention of the Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal to this discriminatory attitude of the Yammuna Nagar Deputy Commissioner in not permitting the Sikh devotees to go to Nankana Sahib in Pakistan Gurcharan Singh Tohra SGPC president and its secretary Harinder Singh Khalsa said that this action had hurt the religious feelings of the Sikhs.
