In an exclusive interview with W.S.N. SGPC Secretary Mr.Harinder Singh Khalsa has said that after receiving information that someone called Yogi Bhajan was using the title “Singh Sahib” the SGPC wanted to inform the Sikh Sangat that none except the five Jathedars of Akal Takt are entitled to use the title of Singh Sahib. Anyone else attempting to use this name is endeavoring to usurp the authority of those who come by this name honorably.
“If anyone professes that he received such a tide he is indulging in a blatant lie. No one is authorized to spread this kind of Dharma (so-called) in the western hemisphere. Whoever is indulging in this kind of thing is Spreading a false and malicious report against the Sikhs” said the SGPC secretary.
