Amritsar — The Amritsar police have arrested six persons for disturbing the SGPC function at the Golden Temple and raising Khalistan slogans in the Baisakhi procession on Saturday.
Cases of sedition, unlawful activities and raising objectionable slogans have been registered against them. A_ police spokesman said about 20 persons have been mentioned in the FIR, most of who are AISSF activists.
Pro Bhindranwale and proKalistan slogans were raised at the Manji Sahib and in the Baisakhi procession even when the security forces were accompanying the procession, on Saturday.
