NEW DELHI (PTI): Security has been tightened throughout the Indian capital in view of any possible retaliatory strike by militants to protest the Friday’s execution in Pune of Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda and Sukhdev Singh Sukha and killed Gen Arun Shridhar Vaidya in June 1986.

All preventive measures have been taken in the capital and the entire units of Delhi police have been fully alerted to tackle any such eventuality in the next few days,” the additional Commissioner of Police (CID), R.S. Sahaye told PTI.
