LONDON: Janata Dal leader Sanjay Singh, who was operated upon in the Middlesex Hospital here on January 3 is in a stable condition, family sources said on Monday.

Singh was admitted here on December 7 for treatment of gunshot wounds he sustained during polling in northern state of Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi parliamentary constituency on November 22.

He is likely to be discharged from the hospital by the month end, the sources said.
