DURHAM, NC: The undersi8ned congregation requests the Sikh Nation to join us in congratulating Brigadier Jagjit Singh Ji and his family, Sardar Sahib refused to order his troops to fire on unarmed Kashmir Moslems who were demanding freedom from the corrupt and oppressive non-Moslems rule. Our Gurus laid down their lives to protect the non-Moslems from the unjust and cruel Moslem rulers of their times. Brigadier Jagjit Singh Ji has followed in their footsteps. We salute him and urge Sikh leaders in India to follow the lead given by Brigadier Sahib.
