JAIPUR(PTI): An apex body of saints in India will decide later this month to decide on the future of the construction of the Ram temple at Ayodhya.

The Central Marg Darshak Mandal will meet in the Holy city of Haridwar in Northern Indi on June 2526 to decide the future course of action for the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya, president of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas Manch, Swami Vamdco, said here last week.

Hindu zealots demolished the 6th century Babri Mosque in December and constructed a makes hi fi shrine at the site, a precursor to the Ram temple to be built there which they believe existed at the site before the mosque was built.

The demolition, which was pre ceded by a seven year campaign by the Hindu nationalist Bhartiya Janata Party and other Hindu par tics, triggered off communal clashes in the country Killing about 2000 people. Swami Vumdco told newsmen that saints from all over the country would decide the date for starting construction of the temple, devoted to Lord Ram, He said groups of Saints would visit every village after the Mon Soon lo create awareness among the masses against, what he called, the anti-Hindu culture actinide of the Congress(I) government,

The Congress (I) government had proposed ‘setting up of a trust to decide on the construction of a temple and a mosque in, Ayodhya following the demolition.
