FRESNO: Sihota Brothers. Charanjit and Kirpal, combined many occasions of happiness to invite their friends and relatives to join them for the celebrations at Portuguese Hall in Selma, Ca recently. The tastefully decorated hall was packed to capacity. There may not be any Sikh family of Fresno area which did not respond to their invitation and not enjoy the memorable evening. The occasion coincided with the reception of younger Sihota, Kirpal’s marriage and birth celebrations of Tarinder Singh (s/o Charanjit & Dalwinder Kaur).
The famous Shangaar group Presented melidous songs and thrilling music, which induced young men and women to take to the floor and dance Bhangra. The atmosphere even tempted some. seniors to recall their youthful days and take the floor to rub their shoulders with the younger generations.
The guests were entertained with sumptuous dinner.
Sihota Brothers who migrated from village Bara Pind in Jalandhar district, made a distinctive place in trucking business at Fresno one feels proud when a truck with a “Khandda” logo is seen running on American freeways.
Sihota Brothers donated $500.00 to the World Sikh News on this occasion. Mr. Charanjiot Sihota is one of the directors of the World Sikh News corporation.
