Puri: The Puri Sankarachari, Nischalananda Sara Swati, in a scathing attack on Mother Teresa, on Oct.20 said, she is engaged in conversion”. At his ‘ashram here he said, “If Mother Teresa really wants to serve humanity, she should stop’ converting Hindus to Christianity.” He said he became aware of the Mother’s “activates” while traveling in West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. He alleged, “She spends lakhs of rupees to cover people and build churches, But people have now gauged her motive.” (Telegraph Oct:21 1995).
Poor Mother Teresa has been the darling of the ruling upper castes whom she has been serving loyally of cleaning ‘only their garbage. Had she indulged in one single conversion to ‘Christianity, the rulers would have kicked her out he ‘very moment, Had she committed any such “crime”, the rulers would not have showered with any award of rewards ‘much less their Bbharatna Ratna, To this day, this Albanian nun has not taken up any of the Christian duties to liberate the oppressed, to speak of conversion, Had she taken to conversions, we would have heartily hailed her.
