WAZIR SINGH: Sikhs are known for their enterprising nature, hard work and a unique sense of devotion of their work and the community. Young Wazir Singh Grewal is a living example of these qualities.
Grewal, who was born to Mrs. and Mr. Harchand Singh at Delhi on January 11, 1954, is now known as an established businessman at New Jersey.
The young Grewal, who belongs to village Behla, Distr. Ludhiana, got his education in Madhya Pradesh, migrated to U.S.A. in September, 1976, when he had justy entered twenties. He selected the soil of New Jersey State to develop his future plans as some members of his family had already established themselves in business. Very soon, Wazir Singh became ruler of his own kingdom.
Grewal was married to Kanwaljit in 1979 and now the young couple is the proud parents of their 5 1/2 year old son Bhupinder Singh. ;
Grewals are very popular in social, religious and political circles. They are considered as dependable and sincere friends. They have joined the family of World Sikh News Corporation to develop and promote a media to project the real image of the Sikh community
His father-in-law, S. Surjit Singh Gill and brother-in-law S. Alamjit Singh have started the same business with young Grewal. They belong to V. Kothey Baggu, distr. Ludhiana. They are related to a famous writer and scholar S. Sant Singh Sekhon and S. Roor singh Sekhon, an ex-MLA from Ganga Nagar. –
