S.KAMIKKAR SINGH GREWAL, a soft spoken and dedicated Sikh leader was born to Mrs. and Mr. Harchand Singh Grewal at V. Bihla, Distr.Ludhiana in 1938.
Grewal served the Indian army as Junior Commissioned Officer for 15 years. He sought retirement from the army to look after the agricultural land at his native village. But soon after, he was persuaded to migrate to U.S.A. to take up the gasoline business which had already absorbed the rest of his family members
Kamikkar got married to Surjit Kaur in 1962 and they are happy parents of two sons Jatinder and Kulwinder and a daughter Harjinder (22). S. Kamikkar Singh Grewal is the President of Singh Sabha Gurdwara, New Jersey. A palacious building is coming up. His religious and sincere efforts have made him extremely popular with the Sikh sangat.
