NEW DELHI(PTI): A team of senior experts from Rover, maker of famous land Rover and part of the 1.9 billion dollar British aerospace is expected to process an: Indian offer to source auto components.
The shopping list will figure finished machine forgings and castings and comes after preliminary discussions between Automotive Component Manufacturer’s Association of India and the company in Birmingham last month.
ACMA is targeting at exports worth 50 million dollars this year. The present strategy is to enter the after’s market in UK where the 17 billion dollar car industry is under tremendous cost pressures, the daily ‘Economic Times’ said.
