NAGERCOIL, TAMIL NADU: A Rogue Elephant which has claimed two lives so far in Kalakad Forest area in Tirunelveli- Kattabomman district is on the prowl, causing enormous trouble to the people living around the forests.
The forest department has deputed a three-member team to capture the animal. Three elephants have been brought from Kanyakumari district as part of the effort to bring under control the elephant, Tamil Nadu forest minister, K. Lawrence told reporters last week.
If the special team failed to capture the animal before September 15.orders had been issued to shoot it down.
