NEW DELHI: An AICC (I) fact finding team headed by former Lok Sabha Speaker Balram Jakhar said that communal riots took place in Agra last month after the BJP-VHP took out the asthikalash procession.
Interestingly the Government of India had been receiving represcotations from several Muslim organisations to demand a ban on the asthi- kalash processions by Hindu fundamentalists but the demand fell on Delhi’s deaf ears.
