The following are the resolution passed by Gurdawara Sahib sangats at several places on the occasion of Khalistan declaration day

  1. We pay homage to the martyrdom of all Sikhs who have laid down their lives for the attainment of independence for Khalistan. We resolve that their sacrifice shall not be in vain.
  2. We pray for the well-being of all those brave Sikh youth fighting on the battleground and for those taken prisoner of war by the Indian government.
  3. We also pray for the well-being of those brave Sikh youths in prison in western countries due to the false and malicious propaganda of the Indian government. We appeal to the government of the United States to immediately and unconditionally free Bhai Ranjit Singh Gill and Bhai Sukhminder Singh Sandhu two Sikh national heroes held in New York for over four years now on fabricated Indian government charges
  4. The Indian government is hereby warned to stop its barbaric atrocities upon the innocent people of Khalistan and to withdraw its forces of occupation.
  5. We appeal to the United Nations Amnesty International and other international human rights bodies to take notice of and to investigate the state terror: in the Sikh homeland and to make India answerable for its crimes.
  6. The Khalsa Nation supports the various freedom movements in Kashmir Afghanistan the Russian republics of Latvia Lithuania and Estonia and of the Kurds in Iraq as the Sikhs can feel the pain of these subjugated peoples.
  7. On this historic occasion we the Sikh people rededicate ourselves with mind body and spirit to achieve our cherished goal of freedom.
