The city of Faridkot, which stands sanctified and enriched with the name of Hazrat Baba Sheikh Fariduddin Masood Gange Shakar, celebrated his three day Aagman Purb from September 21. Baba Farid visited the town about 800 years ago and remained closely associated with the masses there for several years.
During the three days, cultural programes and kirtan darbar were organized. A seminar on the life and teachings of Sufi Saint were arranged.
