CHANDIGARH: The two rape victims of Malout police Ms. Phoolwati and Santo on Jan.25 saw a ray of hope of getting justice as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has started investigation against the Punjab Police persons who have raped the two women Justice V.K. Bali of the Punjab & Haryana High Court has given a direction for CBI enquiry to be conducted regarding the whole episode within a week. The judge also directed that both women would be kept in Savers which houses destitute women Earlier both were medically examined by a panel of doctors from general Hospital but the report of same has not been made available till date.
