In an interview here on Nov. 1, the RSS joint general secretary said that until December 3 when he had met the Prime Minister for the last time, the RSS leadership had an impression that the Allahabad high court judgment would be expedited to enable the Jargenumber of people assembled at Ayodhya to perform kar seva. However, when he met Rao for the last time on December3 he felt that “some changes had taken place in his plans.” During the meeting he reminded the Prime Minister that “we have an understanding” and urged him to expedite the court order. But Rao backed out on his word and expressed his inability to do anything, Singh said.
