LIVINGSTON: Ranjit Singh of Watsonville, son of Mrs. Amar Kaur Tut and late S. Sadhu Singh, was married to Paramjit Kaur, daughter of Mrs, and Mr. Gurdial Singh Takkar on October 8, 1988 at Livingston.

The marriage was solemnized according to the Sikh rites in the presence of unprecedented large gathering. The attendance was so huge that it resembled a mela. The distinguished personalities of the California State had enthusiastically responded to the invitation of both of the families to bless the newly wedded couple for a long and happy life.

Tut family originally belonged to village Pragpur of District Jallandhar. The eldest of the Tut brothers, Amarjit migrated to USA in 1970. Tuts after learning the tricks of trucking trade started their own. Business of trucking in 1976 under the banner of Paul Trucking Co, at Watsonville, now owning about 40 trucks,

The Tut brothers also own a seedless grape farm at Fresno and are counted amongst the top farmers of the area.

Tut brothers are also one of the patrons of the World Sikh News. The World Sikh News offers congratulate to both the families and bless the couple for a long and happy life.
