NEW DELHI: Vishwanath Pratap Singh Friday announced that outgoing Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and his family would continue to get the security cover.
Addressing a crowded press conference soon after his election, V.P. Singh said Gandhi and his family would continue to be guarded by the special protection force concerned with PM’s security.
The force was set up in 1984 at present, the Prime Minister inner security ring comprises almost 300 special protection force men.
