Perfectly calm, peaceful, and respectful period for the Sikhs was that of Sikh Raj (17681848). Pre and post Sikh Raj are unusually horrifying with untold and unspeakable suffering. Sikhs had been killed in cold blood and in most uncivilized manner. It was Planned and programmed butchery of the Sikhs. Sikhs’ carnage and massacre are the among blackest spots in the history of the subcontinent. More than water has, the blood of the Sikhs had flowed over Indian soil. Mughals, British and the present Hindu Government had hand in the bloodshed of the Sikhs both now and then in the past.
The various and very well defined methods of torture were around during the Mughal period. However, the Indian chapter is more dreadful and shameful. It has added, electric machines into its torture centers, which can melt Sikh/Muslim militants alive. (These machines have been imported from Israel, a country with whom India previously had no diplomatic relations).
In India, torture is by the third degree method. It is inhuman and unheard of in the civilized world. The tales make ones hair stand on end. The tale of atrocities and torture of Sikhs is unparalleled and diabolic in the history of the world. A million liters of blood has been spilled but the Sikhs defend their faith. It is simply incredible savagery and harassment to the Sikh community. But nature has to punish the sinner, as the states laws only protect the majorly Hindus.
Any Sikh caught is booked against concocted and false charges. Prices are set on Sikh’s heads. Justice is on ills wings. Ethics and morality have no place in the political apparatus of the present rulers.
Thus, Sikhs without a home of their own can never dream of an honored life. The attack on Darbar Sahib, June 4, 1984 was third holocaust in Sikh history. It was simply shameful to desecrate the fountain head of the Sikh’s Faith. Sikh camage of November 1984 by the unfaithful was the fourth blow. This was done by those, whose faith was defended by our Guru Teg Bahadur. Moreover, “A garna hote Guru Gobind Singh, to sunnet hoti sab ki.” The Hill Rajas joined the Mughal camp, instead of joining the Khalsa Brotherhood. Khalsa were rescuing and returning their daughters captured by Mughals for sale in Gajni for less thana penny. This is the standard of their morality. Hindus were faithful to Mughals. Aurangzeb alone was responsible converting 5000 Hindus a day, sully India thought fit to name a road in New Delhi after him. Conversely, the Golden Temple stands under armed control since 1982, Sikhs having crossed Nadn Abdali, Durrani and Lakhpat Rai by launched one operation after the other. There is no difference between Indira and Nadir. Their name is the same with same mutation. Mutants are more dangerous. Apparently, the Indira proved more disastrous.
