NEW DELHI: Indian railways bagged gold medals in the individual and team events of the 17 nation XIV USIC (world railways) tennis championship held recently (June 10 to 14) in Czechoslovakia .India’s K.G.Ramesh Thrashed L. Ekman of Sweden 6-2 6-0 in final of the individual event a railway sports control board (RSCB) release here Monday said.
In the team event final the Indian team comprising Ramesh Manoj Kumar Mohesh Koregaonkar and Ram Kumar defeated the hosts 3-1.
