NEW DELHI: The Afghanistan president, Prof Buhranuddin Rabbani, held discussions with Indian leaders and officials during an unscheduled three hour transit halt on way to attend the Non Aligned Summit at Jakarta here recently.
According to external affairs ministry spokesman, the Afghan president, accompanied by a 2 member official delegation was met by senior Indian officials.
His discussions here assume importance in view of reported exodus of over a 150,000 Afghanistan Sikhs and Hindus from Afghanistan.
