CHANDIGARH: The Government of India’s administration in Punjab is mushing through with important anti-Sikh recruitments on the eve of a possible elected government assuming power.

In the name of harboring assurances given to certain families, recruitment is being made to the important state service, Punjab civil service (Executive Branch).

Thus, according to a State government spokesman, Miss Babita Bains, daughter of the late Mr Gobind Ram, Mr Arun Shekri, son of the late Mr M.L.Sckhri, former Chief Engineer of S.Y.L. Canal as well as Mrs Rajinder

Kaur, widow of the late Mr Ajit Singh, D.I.G. and the widow of H.O Bablani, a former P.C.S. officer, had either been appointed to the P.C.S. or are being appointed.

All the slain officers were killed at the hands of militants and their next of kin are being offered important jobs on humanitarian grounds, There is a lot of pick and choose in the matter leaving hundreds of other deserving persons either without a job or a Suitable job.
