SANGRUR: The 82yearold mother of Dr.Pritam Singh Sekhon chief of Khalistan Liberation Force has been picked up from her village Dulwan in Sangrur district.
A report received on the letter pad of International Human Rights Organization states that Bibi Gurnam Kaur mother of Dr.Sekhon has been picked up by possibly Punjab police of Dehlon police station of Ludhiana on Nov.17, 1992.
I.H.R.O. has given telegrams to UNO Amnesty International Asia Watch informing about Bibi Gurnam Kaur arrest and appealed to interfere immediately for her release.
This activity is nothing new. The police have a history of intimidating families of suspected militants in an attempt force the families to act as informants.
