KAPURTHALA: The Punjab government has decided to give Rs 300 per month to school going children up to the 10+2 level and Rs 500 per month to college students belonging to affected families in the state from April last
The state Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation, Prof Sushil Mahajan, said that the government has also decided to provide two per cent reservation facility to the victims in the Medical College, Engineering and ITI’s in the state. She disclosed that the monthly stipend facility was also extended to the students, who are studying in private schools and colleges.
