CHANDIGARH: C.M. Beant Singh made news this week with a major reshuffle and appointment of new state ministers. Named to the new posts were Ragunath Sahai Puri (Finance & Local govt) Sartap Singh Bajwa (Public Relations) Jasbir Singh (Housing Development) Gurchat Singh Bhullar (Jails, attached to Home Dept) Sardar Singh (Attached to Health Ministry) Avtar ‘Singh Brar (Independent Sports & Youth Activities). Two other Cabinet Ministers were ousted in the big reshuffle Joginder Singh Mannwho was rumored to be ousted because he: ‘was a close relative of Buta Singh and Braham Mohindera because of his support for Congress MP Kamal Nath, ‘The other face in the move was Maninderjit Singh Bitta who is still sister but hangs alone without a ministry attachment.
