NEW DELHI, India: The bail application of Prof. Darshan Singh Ragi has been accepted by a Delhi court and is likely to be released from police custody shortly. Prof. Darshan Singh was sent to Delhi jail after remaining in Haryana jail for a year.
A petition for his release was filed in the Delhi High Court by the members of his family. The court has decided to accept the petition. He was detained by Delhi police under section 124 and 153 of I.P.C. Besides a case under the anti-Terrorist Act was also registered against him.
