GUWAHATI: in a significant development the pro-talk faction of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) has disbanded its group and formed a new organization to seek economic independence of Assam.
At an emergency central executive meeting the pro-talk group the main body of the Surrendered ULFA militants (CLFA) disbanded itself following the demand from a section of ULFA men who had alleged that wrongdoings by some of the party workers had maligned the image of the whole outfit.
Mr-Sunil Bath atop leader of the faction said the new organization the Jatiya Unnayan Bahini (National Development Force) would work for the economic development of the State and seek its economic independence. However the new organization would be constituted with selected members of the SULFA men as the wrongdoings and petty comes by some of them had maligned the image of the entire group.
