NEW DELHI: The Indian government on May 13 informed the Rajya Sabha (upper house of Indian Parliament) that the investigation carried out by the central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had identified the chief of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Y. Prabakaran as one of the prime accused in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, . India had approached the Sri Lankan authorities in the matter and received full cooperation, the Ministry of state for home, M. M Jacob, said in a written reply,
