SIKAR: Indian Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal said the new National Front government at the center would fulfill all its election pledges.
The government had decided to set up a committee to finalize details for implementation of its pledge to provide the right to work to every youth in the country, he told a public meeting in his Sikar constituency in Haryana state. The decision had been taken at the cabinet meeting, he said.
Devi Lal said the new government would spend 50 percent of the total expenditure on development schemes in the rural sector.
This is the first time Devi Lal is visiting his constituency after the elections.
