JAMMU: The former chief minister of Kashmir Faroog Abdullah said here that the federal government must come out with a concrete policy in order to restore normalcy.

Talking to reporters Farooq said Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar must spell out what he has to offer to “boys” in Kashmir.

On major militant outfits ruling out any talks with the government till “right of self-determination for Kashmiris was not accepted Far00q said a solution has to be found within the framework of Indian constitution.

“About 800 million people in the country will not accept their right of self-determination he said.

Pakistan-trained militants have been waging a war of independence in the Kashmir valley for about one and a half years now.
