HYDERABAD (PTI): Police and investigating agencies are zeroing in on two absconders who are allegedly involved in the abortive attempt on the life of god man Sai Baba at Puttabarthi in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on June 13.
The arrest of the two Vijay Prabhu and Ravi, a Satya Sai Seva Dal volunteer may throw some light on the motive behind the attack, in which two disciples were stabbed to death and two injured in a scuffle with the four assailants. The four youths were later shot dead by police.
Vijay Prabhu is the brother of Suresh Shantaram Prabhu who runs the Puttabarthi vocational training institute from where explosive material was seized, police said.
