NEW DELHI, India: Police fought a three hour battle with Hindu worshippers in Delhi’s old walled city after banrning a religious procession from its traditional route through the streets. Thirty persons were injured, mostly policemen. In view ‘of the violent protest by the Hindus, authorities relented and gave permission for the procession.
