TARANAGAR: The Indian Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar Sunday said those responsible for the creation of Punjab Kashmir and Assam problems did not want these issues to be resolved.
Without naming any political leader Chandra Shekhar said they were afraid they would have nothing to do politically if his government found solutions to the problems through negotiations.
Addressing a public meeting at Taranagar in West India about 70 km from Churu the prime minister urged leaders of all political parties to come out of their own small world of politics and cooperate with the government in building a new India.
The chief minister of Rightist BJP-ruled Rajasthan Bhairon Singh Shekhawat who had accompanied Chandra Shekhar from Delhi also addressed the meeting.
