NEW DELHI(PTI): The Pales tine Liberation Organization (PLO) has denied reports that 11s chairman, Yasir Arafat, had offered handing over of authority of the Gaza strip to Israel, if Isracli army withdrew from there. Ina statement, the embassy of the state of Palestine here last week said Arafat had made no such suggestion and there was no compromise on PLO’s earlier demand to link Withdrawal from Gaza strip to border plan. Such reports spread confusion and did not Serve the” peace process, the statement said.
