KASHMIR (PTI): On board a special aircraft, Federal Minister for internal security, Rajesh Pilot, Feb, 17 said that he was hopeful of an amicable solution to the Kashmir problem, “I am able to see a spark of hope in government’s efforts to bring in peace and normalcy in the Kashmir valley,” he said.
Talking 10 PT! On board a special aircraft after a three-day visit to the trouble torn state of Jammu and Kashmir, Pilot said “this visit was given me further hope that people of Kashmir want normalcy in the state.”
“I am also hopeful that young friends who have been misguided for some reason will revert,” he said.
‘This is the first visit of Pilot since he took over the internal security portfolio in the home ministry after the recent cabinet reshuffle. Pilot Visited five districts including two Sensitive border districts of Poonch and Rajouri and held several public meetings, Hi also talked to detainees at the joint interrogation center.
Pilot was accompanied by top officials in and directors general of border security force, central Reserve police force and J and K police.
