NEW DELHI, India: A group of workers who have nothing to do with Indian Express continue to be stationed outside the Express building here despite the High Court order restraining Mr. TIN. Nag Arjan ousted union president, and his agents from picketing outside the building. On Saturday, the banner of the Indian Express’s Employees Union was removed from the outside of the building instead two banners have been put, one of the Banners and Coleman Union and the other of Delhi State Newspaper Employees Federation, Mr. Nag Arjan is the office-bearer of this federation. The court had ordered on Friday that neither Mr, Nag Arjan nor his ‘agents or supporters should picket within 15 meters of the building. Mr. Arun Bhagat, the acting Police Chief, had assured the Editor of the Express group of newspapers that picketing would not be permitted within 15 meters of the four ‘comers of the building. He had assured that the order will be implemented. The High Court order had also said that no agents or supporters of Nag Arjan will prevent ingress and outgress of any ‘employee of the Indian Express or the Financial Express etc, who entered the building to resume work. Despite the High Court order, the publication of the paper remains suspended.
