PATIALA: In a daring attempt two militants gunned down the body guard of the president of the north zone Hindu Shiv Sena Pawan Kumar Sharma in front of the T.P Hospital here. Sharma escaped unhurt. According to police the two militants opened fire on Sharma while he was riding a scooter with his guard, a head constable who was killed.
Many areas in Patiala observed a bandh in protest against this attack.
