NEW DELHI: The Asom Gana Paris had has demanded that the federal government should initiate steps for a dialogue with militants of United Liberation Front of Assam to find a political solution to the militant problem in the northeastern state.

NEW DELHI: Three fresh cases related to the 1984 riots following the assassination of Indira Gandhi were registered in two police stations of the Capital recently, according to police sources.
While two cases were registered at Janakpuri police station in West Delhi, the third one was registered at Inderpuri police station, the sources said, adding that no prominent person was named in them.
All cases were related to murder, rioting, arson, looting and dacoity.
